It would be really helpful to be able to reallocate clients from one practioner to another, without cancelling the clients appointment. i.e., an edit not a cancellation.
Good news: this is now live. You can move an appointment to another practitioner, or change its appointment type, without cancelling it.
On the Diary, click the appointment, then Actions, then Edit appointment. Choose the new practitioner and click Save changes. The appointment keeps its date and time.
The client isn't told about the change automatically, so use Actions, then Send appointment details if they need the updated booking. Step 3 of the help article Rescheduling, changing or cancelling appointments walks through it.

Good news, this is landing very soon, we’re rolling it out this evening. You’ll be able to change a client’s appointment type or move them to a different practitioner directly from the appointment, without needing to cancel and rebook. Thanks for the feedback, it’s really helped shape this one!
