Manage Exceptions from the Diary Page

Description:
Customers have requested the ability to manage appointment exceptions directly from the diary page, including creating, updating, and deleting exceptions without navigating to the account > appointments section.

Current Behaviour:
At present, appointment exceptions need to be managed separately, making the process more time-consuming and requiring multiple steps.

Proposed Solution:
We propose introducing the ability to manage exceptions directly from the diary page. This would include the following functionality:

  • Create Exceptions: Users can add appointment exceptions from the diary page, specifying dates and times where appointments are not allowed.

  • Update Exceptions: Users can modify existing exceptions directly from the calendar interface.

  • Delete Exceptions: Users can remove exceptions quickly and easily from the diary page, streamlining the entire process.

Customer Benefit:
This feature would make managing exceptions more efficient by providing an integrated, one-stop solution within the diary page itself. It would reduce the number of steps required to manage availability, improving overall productivity and user satisfaction.
