Forms sent automatically with confirmation emails, and tracked

To automate, I pasted the url of my new patient registration form in the confirmation email (of the initial assessment appointment type only) but, it doesn’t log anywhere that the form has been sent, unlike when you manually send a form it logs it as sent. It would be very useful for these forms to be able to be sent automatically with the appointment confirmation email, but be logged as sent.
