Data Access Control and Multi-Location Team Management

Summary

Enable more granular sharing and access control within a single team subscription, allowing team members to only view and manage client data relevant to their specific work location. Support scenarios where some team members may work across multiple locations, while maintaining a clear separation of client data visibility. Additionally, allow team members to add new clients whose data is visible to the account holder but restricted appropriately for other team members.

Current Limitation

• Rehab Guru currently has an "all or nothing" sharing model within a team: either all team members have access to all client data, or only the individual team member has access.

• No ability to restrict client data visibility by location or subset of team members.

Desired Functionality

1. Location-Based Client Access Control

   • Ability to assign team members to one or more locations.

   • Client data visibility restricted based on assigned locations.

   • Team members see only clients and assets associated with their location(s).

2. Multi-Location Team Members

   • Support team members working across multiple locations, with access to clients in all assigned locations.

3. Centralised Account Holder Visibility

   • Account holder (admin) can see all clients across all locations regardless of assignment.

4. Client Creation and Visibility

   • Team members can add new clients.

   • New clients added by team members are visible to the account holder immediately.

   • New clients inherit location(s) based on the creating team member’s assigned location(s), controlling visibility for others accordingly.

5. Maintain Single Subscription

   • All these controls implemented within a single team subscription.

   • Avoid need for multiple subscriptions for different locations.
